Last Christmas, one of the presents I had received was the Sony NWZ-S545 Walkman, which is a portable digital music and video player. When I attached the device via its proprietary USB cable, my Windows XP and Windows Vista computers saw that an external device was attached to it, but it would not recognize it as a removable storage device.
