Once again, Steven Ballmer's Microsoft has demonstrated its continued desire to squeeze more money from its customers. Yesterday, the Microsoft XBox 360 blog MajorNelson announced that the prices for XBox Live Gold subscriptions would be increasing on November 1, 2010 and would affect users in the United States, Canada, Mexico and United Kingdom.

SOLVED - Can't access Sony NWZ-S545 Walkman on computer
Last Christmas, one of the presents I had received was the Sony NWZ-S545 Walkman, which is a portable digital music and video player. When I attached the device via its proprietary USB cable, my Windows XP and Windows Vista computers saw that an external device was attached to it, but it would not recognize it as a removable storage device.
